Hello guys,

Can anyone explain me how to setup the bluetooth system? I have just received my new Lancer and I don't have the owner manual.

Thanks!

Go to this site and click on hands free :

http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/owners/index.do#

I am assuming your phone is Bluetooth enabled if you dont know go to find a phone in the hands free menu to make sure it is compatible. If it is skip this step.

you want pairing options it will ask for phone model and then give you the instructions for initial setup

Hope this helps get ya started anyway

Okay, so I got a 2008 Lancer ES, but when I push the Speech button to setup my phone, nothing happens...

I dont hear a beep, bothing comes on the radio (i.e. Listening)... Nothing happens...

Is it possible it somehow got turned off? Or maybe my steering wheel has the buttons, but Bluetooth isn't REALLY installed?

Can anyone help me? I feel kinda stupid not being able to set this up...

Its not installed. You have the Steering Wheel controls, but have to pay extra to actually install the bluetooth module. You can buy it from dealer and install it urself, or have them do it.

I hate how they put the buttons in there still iff u don't have it....just pointless buttons sitting on ur steering wheel. makes me feel the car is not complete and half assed

with the navi, u get 6 free monthes of serius radio. and after that, its just annoying to have to go through the serius modes wen pressing the mode button. on the steering wheel. It bugged me after my free monthes were up. I ended up buying a years subscription, so i had a functional option unstead of non functional, if tha tmakes sense at all.
