Vehicle Info: 2004 Mitsu Endeavor XLS
OEM Stereo: 6-disc/7-Speaker Infinity

Everywhere I have read and researched, I was pointed to buying the MITAH wiring harness which has a separate fat plug for hooking into factory OEM power wiring and then the round DIN style plug that goes from pre-amp RCA outputs of the new aftermarket stereo into the custom round 6-pin DIN style plug that is supposed to hook into factory wiring and go to the infinity amp.

However, I found out my Endeavor does NOT have the round style pre-amp plug on the back side, instead I have 3 plugs on the backside of the OEM head-unit. One is the larger style "fat" square plug that has only 4 wires going into it (all for powering the unit). Another is a small plug that I believe communicates with the factory LCD display, and another 14-pin square plug that looks like it is where all the speaker wires are bundled. The MITAH wiring harness has the correct plug that hooks into the biggest plug just fine (and delivers power to the new head-unit), however I have no way of easily hooking into the 14-pin adapter.

I was wondering if anyone on these forums has experience with this configuration and could point me to the appropriate wiring harness. I can take pictures if needed. I would also like to know if anyone knows where the infinity factory amplifier is actually located in the vehicle as I cannot find it in the usual locations, such as under any of the seats in the car. Someone suggested it may be in the rear quarter panel near the factory subwoofer.

Thanks,
E
