I have a GTO 90/91, my in dash Air con display unit has died, I have a replacement unit but can not get to the main top screw to remove the unit.
I have already tried removing the stereo & console but can not get to the centre holding screw.

Can someone help me, how do I access this .

Thanks

you have to pull out the air vents above it, then the screw will be right there. The air vents and the trim piece are just held in with plastic clips. It takes alot of prying but it will come out. You usually end up breaking a couple of the clips but it will go back in ok. Thats the only way to do it with out tearing half the dash apart.
