hi, hope someone may be able to help me keep my 1992
Mitsubishi expo lrv (actually a colt vista import) alive. Just pushed 210,000 mile and it died in the driveway.
found that it had spark but no fuel delivery. It will run off carb spray when I shoot it up the intake. I removed the fuel filter and found no fuel was being pumped - also did not hear the pump running. pulled the pump access panel off under the rear seat and connected up a volt meter to the connector at the pump. No voltage with key on or when cranking or when running with carb spray for a second or 2.

Heres the question. Does any one know where the fuel pump relay or mfi relay or any other relay that may cause no power to the fuel pump is located ? The chilton book shows a diagram i of the computer with an connection to a fuel relay but does not state where the heck it is. I have pretty much torn this car apart looking for it.

I hate to scrap this car - it has been the best vehicle I have ever owend.

Thanks for you help!

Check the passenger side kick panel. It might be mounted next to the ecu to the right of the glove box.
