I have been having a continual and annoying problem with my 1999/2000 2.0ltr Gls Galant. After a rather unfortunate incident with the timing belt, and the subsequent replacement of a number of valves I got my car back. I have since noticed an unusual “judder” when the engine revs are held between 1000 and 2000 rpm. I have noticed it slightly when accelerating through but one the engine is running above 2000 rpm and I am cruising at 60mph the judder is no longer present. This is really starting to annoy me, I have tried using the injector cleaners you can add to your fuel and using higher octane fuel but neither of these solves the problem. Any advice would be gratefully received to try and fix this problem.

Hello, how long ago was the timing belt/valve job done? If this didn't exist before the timing belt job, then I'd think the first point of call would be to take it back immediately to the mechanic who fixed it, as something may not have been done correctly during the repair.
