Alright have a problem. I moved from Chicago to Atlanta and now my car will not pass the emissions tests. I took it and got tested and was getting a 1400 code error saying Mitsubishi Auxillery emissions control switch. So i took it to a shop and 400 bucks later they said it was fixed. Took it back and got it tested again. It failed because the Check engine light was blown. So I replaced that and had it checked again. NOW its reading the 1400 code again and its not passing. I took it back to this ship and there telling me they think it might be a sensor or I need a new ECU. The check engine light will come on and then go off for awhile and come back on. Has anyone had this problem and how do i get rid of it?? Is there anyway to get passed this damn emissions test??
