I got my 95 eclipse gs because some jerk off in a ford ranger totaled my 94 eclipse gs plus price and mod possibilities were also thrown into the mix. :57:

My second car was a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant ES, which I loved, but I had to part with it because it had 75,000 miles and I didn't feel like dropping any more money into it. I didn't have a warranty, so everything was out of pocket. I have since bought a 2003 Lancer ES, which I have had for a year, and I bought it because I planned on modifying it when school was over. Since I am in Auto School, I don't care about the warranty and all, I plan on doing all the work when I graduate anyway. The car cost me $11,500 with 5000 miles. I have never been happier about a car. I just wish it a) had more stock power, B) had a better stock sound system, and c) had a bigger gas tank. My Galant had a 17 gallon, and going to a 13 gallon sucked.

Even though the 99 Galant GTZ I just got has quite a few miles,& I went thru everything when I got it about 5 months ago-it didnt really seem to need it and I have had zero problems.

I had (still have it in my yard) an Celica/supra -86 and it's to small, having a house out of town.
So I was looking for a little bigger car for those drives to the citydumb with garbbage!
I found an 1993/94 Galant HB with a towinghook (dont know if it's the right word?)
anyway it seems to bee a good car only have had it for a few weeks yet.
But the main thing about the car that tipped me over to it's favour was the engine being more powerfull than my old supras :P !
150 VS 140+ (and with some mild modifying it will have some more)
So I have to say that space (bigger car) and engine (bigger engine or at least more horsepower) is what made me an Mitsu owner.

I found my Stella (94 Galant GS) on autotrader.com. When I met the seller at a nearby mall, I fell in love at first site. Then I started her up - and oh yeah, true love. I have only had to do slight repairs, pretty much normal stuff for 200K miles +, but she is strong and reliable. Best car I have ever had!

I bought my Lancer ES new because the payments were cheaper than buying a used Honda Civic (similar equipment).

Mitsubishi was having a deal going on at the time, 0% financing for 6 years. The car was well equipped and had good styling for an economy car.

I've had the car a year and a half, with 47,000 miles. No problems whatsoever. I would have bought an Outlander in a year or two, but they made the new ones bigger and more expensive. Plus, they only use the V6 now.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to save up for an Evo.

I bought the first to bail my daughter out of a jam. (Long story and not going there any further)
Bought the Eclipse cause my wife thought it was cute. (This is now her car. I hate the seats)
Bought the current one for me. Didn't want to pay the insurance on an EVO with my son on the policy. So I got the Ralliart (EVO Lite according to the dealer) and gave the ES to my son.

Yea, except for the turbo and the all-wheel-drive. Car salesmen say some stupid things to sell a car.

:amen:
He may have thought that helped to make the sale.
Not the case, I went in to buy the Ralliart and that's what I got.
Of course it took them a while to find the one I wanted, and then get it shipped in.
