it seems pretty crazy that someone would want to increase the top speed of the evo and its turbocharged engine but i go down to the strip every other weekend and sort of drag race. what would be the first thing you would do to the new evo to boost its hp or top speed.

top speed = you need to change your transmission for that, because you are limited by your gears.

Here's a pretty basic guide to modding your evo in stages...

Top speed? You won't even come close to hitting the stock top speed on the 1/4 anyways.
