the thing i don't like about what eclipse did, they just started making the cars bigger and put a v6 in it. that doesn't make them any faster!!!! yeah its a v6 but with more weight, a v6 doesn't mean crap. now a turbo v6 would mean something. or keep the eclipse a smaller car with a regular v6 or keep the 4g63 in it with a turbo but a smaller body. maybe that would just sell to me i guess you gotta think about the market, oh well.

i think reason why there is no more turbo eclipse or awd its because it would take sales away from the evo.as far as the engine would go they prolly start using the new 4b11t from the new evo if they were to bring a new turbo eclipse.

I bet if they did turbo the 3g there would be less bitching about it, alot of people think 3gs suck and have no potential but thye are good cars, run great!

they are you regular 6 cylinder sports car, nothing else. If you are a senior citizen this will be your perfect car. Nothing personal...just my opinion.

That underwater car isn't practical at all. With an open top design, to go underwater you'd have to be set up with a breathing apparatus and such. It would be 10 times better if it functioned as a submarine.

Nope one of the designers told me on the phone that the insurance industry was driving away customers so they stoped at the 2nd gen.

Hay somebody go to this link copy the pics and put em up, this is awsome!!!

Nevermind I got em I post em ASAP.

I saw another pic of it they took it down and them guys sure cuss a lot over there sorry guys if any of you read that garbage  :blush-anim-cl: I'm glad we got more class over here.

so did you ever find out about this car? are they trying to make this one or not? i want to know if they're gonna go for the butterfly wing doors like it has in the picture?

that would be a perfect upgrade since most import drivers want something like that anyways. however if they don't return the turbo, or build up the V6 so its in the 275-300 HP range they just aren't going to sell that many. if you really worked for Mitsubishi engineering please tell those A-holes to stay away from light color interiors. tan? are they serious? shotgun sandwich time! classic tan leather color died in the early 90's even Cadillac stopped using most of that crap.

i did notice in the picture the engine said 2.2 on it. so maybe they are bringing the turbo back. i mean if you really think about it. since Bush signed that bill requiring all united states selling motor companies to start transferring all their vehicles over so that they get a rated 32-34 miles per gallon by the year 2020. it makes sense to bring back the turbo engines. now since more and more companies will be switching all of their cars over to this standard, there will be a lot more turbo vehicles on the road by 2020. which may or may not bring normal turbo car insurances down.

yeah Bush did something good for us Eclipse lovers WOO HOO!!!!!!!
