personally, I went with the CVT for one reason, this is a DD for me in stop-and-go traffic to and from work. The CVT makes my life easier in this situation. It will always depend on where/how your driving your car.

ehhh I am so lazy, I already got a 5spd. Didn't need another one. Got the ES in auto.
Not worth the extra 2k in my opinion, its all pretty much stuff you can do yourself, and do it the way you want. The only thing is the suspension that might be a **** to do but who really needs it. I've driven both and I can't really tell a difference.
Besides GTS is overrated :bwekk:

LOL I hear you man. I got the GTS Auto paddle shifters I uesd the paddles when I'm on the high ways and that like 3 times a week and its fun. I'm stuck with the 08 too, in till next year. I'm going to trade in my 08 for a 09 Blue GTS five-speed manual transmission. Because I miss manual and its suck with the CVT you can't really do any power to the car. With the manual you can. So I'm stuck with the 08 till next year. But I was going to get the Evo X next year but then I found out I be paying some where around $560 to $610 a month and I send I go with the 09. but I have to wait till next year.

I have the 09 with the paddle shifters and it's alot of fun and even my buddy who has an 08 MazdaSpeed3 wishes he had the paddle shifters. I think it isn't a big deal but just the fun of seeing someone wishing they had it.....totally worth it. Besides, now the GTS has just a tad more power. :P
