BAD! Anything that flickers and is not made to flicker is bad. You're not getting enough power into them and they get cut off. Potentially you will end up burning them out, unless there is something about HIDs that I don't know which will not allow them to burn. Anyway in general if you supply not enough power to a component it has greater potential to break rather than if you would apply too much power to it.

You should get that either looked at, or try to rewire DRLs. There has been discussion here about that so search through the topics here, also check out evolutionm.net and look at the forums there. I think they might have a "how to".

I have a pretty easy fix for the DRL's, I hate leaving my lights on all the time and Mitsu won't help and shut off the DRL's.. All i did was buy a cheap switch from Walmart and some 14 gagaue speaker wire. All you do is cut the positive wire (leave a small piece hanging off the stock harness so you can run a wire back to it which is explained later) off the stock light harness run them both to the switch(these will be your positive battery wires) and you run two wires back to the light form the switch and hook them back up to the stock light harness (the little piece you left on there), from the switch the two wires you run back from the switch to the stock harness are the accessory wires or the wires that you want the switch to controll. this works great beacause it works so many ways. 1- DRL's are turned off so it wont cause HIDS to flicker or DIM the NAVI during the day, 2- if you shut your car off and open the door the lights will automatically shut off like normal because the light wont have any power goin to them considering your hot is the wire going to your lights so they wont be on unless your switch is on and also the lights are turned on inside the vechile (NOTE THAT IF IT IS DURING THE DAY AND THE SWITCH YOU INSTALLED IS ON YOUR HIDS WILL STILL FLICKER UNLES THAT SWITCH IS OFF), 3- you can turn your lights all the way on leave the switch you installed turned off and you can run your fog lites witout your head lights being on.

If you need help or it to be explained in more detail email me at DRM6318@hotmail.com and I will send you my number and I can explain over the phone.

My friend found a way to stop the flickering from DRL. He just found out yesterday and got it done on my car. No cutting of factory wires and a very clean install no need for extra switches or anything. He said he will do it for others but he will charge $100. If your want it done then let me know. I'm not always going to check the forum so email me and i will get back to you. blazen173@sbcglobal.net

thats pretty cheap of you.. You could have written here how he did it with instructions and pictures, then at the end say he could do it for a charge.. What good will this do to people who live far from you.. Once again, pretty cheap.. i should just delete this post.

I dunno, chances are they already have the wiring harness set up to either be always on or always off (like in afeudale's sticky). Personally, I'll stick with MobileHID. Great customer service, fast shipping, unbelievable prices, and an excellent product to boot. Nothing beats having a waterproof ballast you can smash with a hammer*!!!

*Hitting your ballast with a hammer will void your warranty. lol
