Here's my 2008 ES. I just put this TI-c on about 2 weeks ago.
I couldn't take pics of the whole instal cause i didn't have my camera but its a simple job. The three hangars that are on the stock exhaust are utilized on the new exhaust only reconfigued when you do this remember (the shims can be moved around). If you have any questions give me a shout.

2 Questions mate,
Have you noticed any performance improvements, ie accel or fuel economy????

Is there enough clearance between bumper cut out and the curve of the pipe tip so your bumper isnt damaged/melted as happened to someone else on the forum????

Thanks

Its not too bad audio wise its nice not obnoxious, and right around 3800 rpm's its got a really nice bark not popy at all.

Performance is the about the same only it seems like there are minor but noticeable jumps then luls of power throughout the cycles. I'm going to pick up some NGK plugs next paycheck, i'll let you know if its any better.

If you put the brackets on properly it will keep enough clearance that this doen't happen, this exhaust gets VERY HOT so its critical to keep about an inch between the two.

Thanks for the post! I wasn't sure how I was going to use the hangers at first when I was installing my Greddy exhaust last night. Saw your post and it helped immensely! :57:

BTW, what hanger did you use so that the exhaust tip is not so close to the rear bumber or did have to buy a longer one?

Having some scraping and melting issues.

------

LOL, nevermind I figured it out! I just moved it a little and now it has 1/2" to 3/4" clearance instead of a few millimeters.

So i Talked to Extreme PSI trying to get some Denso or NGK plugs for my baby, and he says, well the car already has iridium plugs stock... I was actually shocked he could have sold me some 50 dollar plugs without a question! I wonder if the lancer does, either way i'm going to get some new plugs. Thats the next step i looked up the gap for them and everything. I'll include that info when i do the install.

let me get this straight, they kept your hanger rubbers? Well, the easiest thing would be to go to them and ask them to return it.

Well they said they added a brace, so i checked today and saw that they replaced two of the rubber hangers and added these strap looking things. They replaced the rubber hanger that is mounted to the axel. Do you think that the dealer would be able to get them????

Yes i'm going to guess they probly have them, items like those hangers are probly on more than just the lancer. Probly a few other models use the same hangers. Good luck!
