** UPDATE **

I took off the 2nd Rubber Hanger..

It now looks like I have more clearance, so possibly the melting will cease.

Becareful with just two hangers on. check regularly because when i did that to mine, i found that the muffler will move around alot and will get pulled closer to the inside of your bumper. At least that is what happen to me when i only used two hangers and saw the big gap it left for room thinking that was enough room to prevent melting.

with the middle one off?

Did you find a solution that worked for you?

I think I might just go to a muffler shop and see if I can purchase some longer rubber hangers. I found some online, but I cant tell if they will fit or how much longer they are.

I just got home. 2 hours of highway driving at an avg of 75mph, with the middle hanger unhooked and tucked under the bar its supposed to be hooked on.

No melting happened!!! SUCCESS!!! :460:

I guess thats the correct amount of spacing and I dont believe the muffler jiggles, since its the middle one unhooked and its kinda pinned under the bar it was once hooked on.

I will post pictures tomorrow for anyone interested.

According to Speed Corps the GReddy Ti-C is on back order. I believe it's back in development for the heat issues correct?

Any idea when it will be ready to ship again?

I just got a 2009 GT, and I'm eager to spend some more money, hehe.

thanks for the info, dude

I'm getting antsy and might just order the Tsudo.

I am a bit brand concious and would prefer the Greddy though. Plus, I like the burnt titanium tip, and the fact that it's a bit smaller.

Has anyone ever heard both the Tsudo and Greddy in person? I'm wondering how the sound compares on both. Can't really make a good comparison through the youtube vids...

I'm still waiting on my upgrades for the GReddy, so it may take a while.
The Tsudo looks HUGE!!! I'd be too worried about ppl sticking things in it.
Thats why I didn't buy it. It does sound good from what I've heard. tho I prefer the GReddy sound more, minus the melting issues.
I know my neighbors probably hate it tho.... cuz I get up about 5AM and crank my car up, LOL!!

thanks for all the info, this thread is really helpful. i will probably be ordering the GReddy soon. i wonder if the RRM carbon fiber insert is a worthwhile investment or if it's just for looks.

edit: Also curious for the guys that have it.... if you use the bluetooth speaker does it make it difficult for the person on the other end of the phone to hear, since you got a louder exhaust? i guess you could just run in the low end of your gears to minimize noise, but that's something i wondered.

Anyone in Canada order the greddy? I was wondering how much customs/duty/taxes were paid. I found the best price here, wonder how safe/reputable the company is...

So no pictures about that one hanger that tucked underneath?

I can't decide over Tsudo or Greddy. The melting is not making me really want that, but you guys say you dont have a problem with that anymore?

Can we find a concrete answer to this heating issue?
