QUOTE(Mitsu_Fizzle @ May 31 2008, 07:01 PM) I have GOOD NEWS :haha: .... and (unfortunately) I have BAD NEWS :crying: ... I believe we all have the MMCS version NR261UM v1.09 Here's the :haha: If when you press & hold "SET + NAVI" and it says you have Application 00.20.68 The DVD Viewing in Motion patch WILL work for you. Here's the :crying: If when you press & hold "SET + NAVI" and it says you have Application 00.30.94 The DVD Viewing in Motion patch WILL NOT work for you. I wasted 3 CD-Rs realizing this. Good Luck and DRIVE SAFE!!! I have the 00.30.94 version in my 09. Eventually there will be one for our version. We have waited this long for a patch what is a little while longer. I know all they need is someone with our version to pull a couple of files off of their hard drive and send it to them. Any takers?

QUOTE(Mitsu_Fizzle @ Jun 1 2008, 07:50 PM) How do you go about doing that? I was thinking of exploring possibilities of adding colors, backgrounds, and possibly a screensaver. Check out this thread for directions. http://www.mitsubishiforum.com/m_208034/mp..._/tm.htm#208034

QUOTE(guilleonline @ Jun 1 2008, 11:10 PM) SO NO ONE THAT HAS THE NEW VERSION HAS BEEN ABLE TO HACK THE SYSTEM? ANY IDEAS? OR SHOULD WE JUST WAIT. MAN IT SUCKS. I SAW THE LIGHT WHEN I STARTED READING THE REPLIES, BUT IT DIMMED PRETTY QUICKLY. Well my issue now is I do not have the IDE adapter to be able to hook it up to my PC to pull the files off of the HDD from the Navi. I am going to call Best Buy and see if they have one if not I will have to order it off of newegg. I have no fear Bro eventually we will be able to watch movies Illegally while driving!

QUOTE(freakingwilly @ Jun 2 2008, 07:21 PM) This is more awesome than most people think. Now I can burn an all music DVD! YEAHHHHHHH! Haha, how will this benefit you? Our system still cannot burn Dvds... And I thought it will play sound while in motiion? (I have never driven with a DVD in their, lol havent been on a road trip yet) anyways it will be interesting to know how a music DVD comes up on screen. You think it will be the same as a normal audio cd where you can touch which track you would like it to play?

Do you have a CompUsa around you? They will be more reliable than a BestBuy to get things like that. Is this it? http://www.compusa.com/applications/Search...29310&CatId=470Or this? http://www.compusa.com/applications/Search...49952&CatId=448

I was going to burn the DVD from my computer and have separate titles and chapters within each title. Each title will be an artist and each chapter will be a song. The car will still play sound when in motion regardless of this hack, but at least this way I can easily locate a song without having to stop. Plus the touch screen functionality integrates with your DVDs, so you can scroll through everything easily.

QUOTE(guilleonline @ Jun 5 2008, 11:09 AM) anyone?!?! we r kind of desperate here I still do not have the adapter I need. I am going to my dealer today to see if they can let me copy a couple of files off of the update disk. The way they have screwed me over I don't see why they wouldn't. Seeing is I had to file with the BBB and the AG! Update: I just got off the phone with my dealer and he said " That disk should have been with your manual. Let me see if I can find you one and you can come pick it up today." Crosses fingers and hopes that he doesn't realize that they are supposed to charge me for it.
