Hi , my L200 got water loosing , but no over heat .( temp. meter show normal )

When i drive short distance there is not really a problem , but if i drive more than 200km , i need to feel in at least 1L water.

ive change rad. cap , water pump , fan oil , rad. clean .

I wonder what problem ?

EGR coolent ? EGR ? head gasket / crack ?

can somebody pls help ?

maybe your lines have a leak? i broke one yesterday doing maintnence, it broke easy cuz the cars like 13 years old. maybe you've got the same problem? have you noticed a puddle when you park for a while? and if its only when you drive i'd guess its in your return lines coming from the engine. but who knows, good luck man.

some o fthem suffered with poorly constructed egr coolers.easy to check by removing the metal pipse connected to it and looking for any signs of wetness.if there is check with your local dealer as there are identification marks on the egr cooler to identify which generation of egr it is.it may need replacing if it is the older style and should be done for free

. If poss get a coolant pressure tester put on top of radiator put pressure on , check for drop in pressure ,if a drop in pressure check externally for leaks if none let pressure get as low as poss start car and check exhaust gas for white smoke if its white its highly poss its head gas fault??

promblem same as i had l200 3 years old 1st enginge went at 38000 2nd 15000 sounds the same fault cylinder head corroded cost 2200 3 months out of warranty i have to pay because they replaced with another faulty engine
