I'm trying to find an intake to fit a 1986 Starion 2.6 , I think it came from a 2nd gen. magna. Thanks in advance Mike.

Dont know the american equivilent

think you will find it came off a first gen magna TN ot TP EFI

now you can try using a TR/TS from a 4 cylinder EFI

it would be the height of the plenium that would make the difference

the TR/TS had a bigger throttle body

also you may need the engine management computer off the TR/TS 2.6 4 cyl to make the best bang for your buck

TP and a TR inlet manifold

if going carby they are the same inlet manifold

most fit a k & N filter and use turbo fitting pipes

over the throttle body

with the piping and bends it becomes a cold air intake

you just need the air flow meter and you can make up a tin box for that.. DIY

I'm sorry I didn't mean the intake piping, what i'm looking for is the intake manafold from a magna, "like the one in your other post" so I can make my Starion multiport injection instead of throttle body like it is now. Thanks Mike

no problem getting closer to what you are looking for

the fuel rail will need to be custom made with different flow injectors

sort of like a diesel injected set up .

dont know of anyone who has set up a direct injected system

for street use .. possibly a performance shop is you next stop

also go with a non dissy set up
and use an optical sparking system

both TP/TS use a fuel regulator
with a operating fuel pump presure of approx 195 kpa

I think so, that one did not show the top half, but the same as in your other post. It's off of a Australian mitsubishi magna. Thanks Mike

I'm trying to find someone over there that I could pay to get me one. None of the cars over here had that, they were all throttle body injection.
