Hi, I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Colt that I recently purchased, I am in the process of putting my panasonic stereo in the Colt, however it seems that the previous owner has rewired a little bit of it. Everything looks origanal, however I purchased the adaptor to fit to the Panasonic stereo, plugged it all together, earthed the required wire, and now have found that there is a red cable seperate to the other wires.
As the stereo didn't work once I plugged it all in (minus the red cable as it had nowhere to fit) I traced back that cable, and it is directly connected to the battery.
Could you help me undo what the other owner has done and enable my stereo to work? Why would they have done it?
I have attached a photo. The red wire is visible, and it seems that there may a wire missing out of the small connection block.
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to hearing from you. Let me know if you require the photo. Thanks, Sam :S
Edit:- Sorry for the multiple post, comp messed up. Let me know how to delete the others and I will do.. Thanks for understanding.
