That depends on a lot of different things.
Firstly, what sort of racing are we talking?
Are we talking stock or performance upgraded?

If we're talking flat out, my money is on a VR4 Galant. Those things get pretty fast. I am also Galant biased.
For technical, Evo g6ish.

If we are talking performance, no clue. There isn't really such a thing as they best thing you could possibly buy. It's usually a matter of what brands you prefer.

FTO is front wheel drive with a heavy v6

The Evo is the best car set up to race any type of track right out of the box.

The only car that would give an evo some issues is the 3000GT VR4 on a very straight course.

Its got to be the Lancer Evolution 4 times WRC world Champion from 1996-1999 Thanks for the wheel man, Tommi Mäkinen. The more powerful and lighter CP9A (Evo 4-6).

No the evo 4-6 is lighter then the eclipse and has a more powerful 4g63. power from 260-280hp.

im going to say the 1g dsm

its a small compact car, with a engine capable of destruction...especially the gsx model, even though im not a boost person, a buschurracing powered 1g dsm putting down a ten second 1/4 mile time is crazy

mabye it a funny car?

or something along those lines of pure power.

did you ever check the november issue of modified mag? they featured a 1g talon awd gsx powered by a huge **** turbo and built with buschurracing goods and putting down tens with a full interior and roll cage.

its sick as hell

Brent Rau's 2g runs 6s. BUT... at this point it's barely a DSM any more.

John Shepherd's 1g TSI runs 7s, over 1000 whp. It is still AWD, and actually has a 4g63t in it.
