I cant find anywhere on how to take out the dash/stereo pieces. I got the silver part out, then what? All i need to do is tap into the stock antenna so I can use FM modular.
Any help is appreciated.

You aren't supposed to tap into the stock antenna. You should have got an antenna with the kit.

Its an FM module..its for the input of Xm signal. Since our Lancers dont have AUX input, there are 2 other ways to do it. 1) FM module connects to xm unit then connects to stock unit though antenna input, and the antenna input from car connects to the fm module. When XM unit is turned off, ur stock radio plays FM/AM.. Once you turn on XM unit, the fm module automatically cuts off car's antenna's input and feeds the radio with XM input.
2) there is a wire that you connect to xm unit, then you clip it on to your car's antenna.. To listen to Xm you have to find unused radio station - first that looks stupid, and it sounds stupid and its inconvenient to always having to find un-used fm station.

Anyways, you must have thought im talking about the XM satelite antenna that comes with the package..

Mine didnt. Aux input was an option that came only in a package deal with Sun and Fun package, which i obviously opted out of.

Guys im not a newb at this, common. I obviously explored all other options and taking the dash apart was my last but now only resort. And since there are no service manuals out there im stuck , i dont wanna try to pry something out that isnt meant to be pried out :P So i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone has done it or has any knowledge on how to get it off.
