hi ... what's the news on my 2.4i single timing belt motor... are they a good thing or not so... seems a bit down on grunt at first and doesn't like fifth gear on hills... but is a sweet thing around town... the o2 sensor is not giving out a reading, does the comp still have a default setting or is it best to replace it, will it give me poor mileage without an operative o2, seems ok but maybe a little heavey, I haven't tested yet. I like the feel of the unit though... sorry so many questions.

I gave it about 5 degrees extra advance, and it feels more lively, the temp remained the same, so it looks to be ok, not hard to start and no run-on...

it's 1st gear, dont expect much... I wouldnt even bother trying to get anything out of it... half way through the lights I'm already changing into 2nd gear.

and 5th gear isnt gonna help you up hills... just change back down to 4th.

dont forget its just a van, not an evo lol

hi thanks, it's not so much a 'low gear' thing...Like there isn't a lot under 3000
I thought it might have more grunt with 2.4... but it is still a four, pushing air, but all the back seats are out , so weight is less.. I thinks it goes ok - good.
