it's the same setup, so parts are interchangeable. the perfromance suspension for the aitrek offered in japan would fit the outlander....if you could get it here in the usa....

eibach discontinued selling the outlander lowering springs in the usa; likewise for arospeed. h & r in the uk does ship to the usa, but at like $100+ just to get across
the pond, i think i'll try polyurethane bushings first and see if that doesn't provide a handling improvement for a lot less money....

Eibach springs wont lower out turbo essentially (approx/ 15mm). But Greddy has DowMax that will give 30-35mms http://www.trust-power.com/06sus_spring/dowmax/index.html

35mms will be for non-turbo outlander. turbo is 20-25 mm lower than simple outlander. so you will have 10-15 mm lowering. but I can be wrong)

All non-turbo 1st generation Outlanders sold in Europe are 19,5cm high. The turbo model is only 17cm. Agree with Barin. But anyhow, I am very curious about what will be the result of swapping original springs and shocks with those Eibachs.

My experience is, that the original suspension is good when the car is loaded hard. Means 4 passengers and full trunk of things. Holes in roads do not make you feel like on old horse-dragged wagon, the car does not tilt to sides.... But is still very firm and hard enough in corners. May be more of you can confirm this. If the Eibach kit can replace that load, it will be interresting.

i was supposed to install it on wednsday...but i got the wrong kit...the one i got was to an alfa romeo
but i am supposed to get the right one today,so ill measure the height on the car before and after.also take pictures of the eibach and original to see the difference(if it is one)...

ill try to fit it this weekend...

but on the height,i have i read somewhere in a brochure that it is 19,5cm on the turbo...must have been wrong then.

but we will see what the difference is :57:

ill update you as soon as possible!!

Hi there, Crazynor!

You did some kms on new springs and I am interested in your comments on the change in car behaviour. How did the handling and driveability change? What about car rolling to sides in cornering and how about comfort? Is the suspension much stiffer/harder on road holes, or is it the same or do you feel smoother behaviour? Please feedback  Thanks
