Mitsubishi Pajero is my trnaportaion vehicle . I am looking for some roof rack, which should be designed properly to hold more load. As I have used some roof racks but they can not hold the luggage properly, the load comes off when it hit any hole on the road.Do advise for some good design.

Why don't you purchase a roof cage?
They can attach to your existing roof racks or mounts, vary in size (ie; half size or full roof) are about 4-5 inches high, lots of tie down points and weigh naff all.

I want to place roof racks to my pajero sport but from the mitsubishi company in my city they tell me that I must give them the serial number of a newer model because with mine sn can't found the roof racks in the price list because at 2002 when my car was produced mitsubishi didn't had roof racks. So has anybody the product code from the roof racks or anybody knows how to find it because I can't find the serial number from a new pajero sport.

Basically the Pajero uses the roof drain/gutter to provide any hold for roof rack systems.

THULE (Sweden) have roof racks for Pajero. I personally don't prefer this as the clamps tend to scrape the roof siding and scratch it.

My choice is the Sports Rack MONDIAL (Canada), cost about $350/set but comes with 5 dif. sets of clamps for various car roofs (so it highly transferable). You may need to select the proper length for Pajero tho'. (Please see picture).

Installation is easy and it's lockable, with soft rubber pads. The load rating is 75 kilograms, but bear in mind that Pajero roof is rated for a maximum of 100 kgs.

I would recommend the Mondial for its sleek design and reliability (used it for the last 10 years), ease of installation and roof friendly. Full aluminum body.

Oh yes, you would need to have a roof box to use these racks with.
