Hi all, first post from a newbie.
I have recently bought a carisma GLI 1996 P

The centre console all seems not to be working, i.e the radio, blowers, clock, sunroof cigarette lighter etc etc.
I have checked all the fuses and all seem to be ok.
I have absolutely zero car knowledge and even less when it comes to the electrical side of things!!
Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

I look forward to your suggestions, and any help would be greatly appreciated

Just found out my alternator is caput....do you guys think this may be the cause??

hi Scott I have never worked on a Lancer but in this case i would suspect it is most likely to be an earth (grounding) problem. i pressume the console would have a common earth shared by the different components. Using an ohm meter test from another metal part of the car to the earth on something not working on the console.hope this is of some help

Ok..sorted the electrics out...turns out i didn't check all the fuses properly!! The 100a fuse had blown!! :blush:
