I was wondering if a srt-4 block fit up to a 420a becouse it is a 2.4. I was reading and article where a someone was saying you can stroke the srt-4 from 2.4 to 2.9. So i was thinking if you could put the block of a srt-4 in the the eclipse you could stroke it to 2.9 or something. hopefully im not sounding like a complete **** hahaha

I don't think that would fit. The eclipse is 2.0. The SRT EDZ block is slightly taller. If the mounting brackets are the same then you could find a hood that is raised in the center. That would be your only option.

sorry a lil off topic but when people refer to turning a engine into a stroker engine are they just making the stroke of the piston longer which increases the capacity of the engine and makes higher compression. ive never touched on stroker engines. ive seen the kits. just a queston thanks :57:
