2006 Endeavor 6 cd in-dash changer and dvd system
Ok - so here's my problem - its 2 separate problems. First one, I bought ipod adapter MZ607411EX, instructions don't show how to hook up when you have dvd system, back of head unit has one 13 pin din and 3 connector harness' - do I hook the 13 pin din coming from the dvd system into the ipod adapter unit then use the 13 pin ipod adapter cord and plug that into the head unit? If so, do I also need to hook up the yellow pigtail wire for this application to power or do I leave it disconnected? Instructions are vague and does not show how to hook-up with dvd system only shows hooking up if you have Mitsubishi Sirius satellite radio system or hooking up ipod adapter and one din size add-on 6 cd changer simultaneously.

Question 2 - when I ordered the ipod adapter, it told me I needed audio aux cable MZ360135EX, which I don't believe I need for this installation, but would like to install this cable for an auxi input, cable has 1/8 phono plug and 3 wires, black red, white. Instructions say Endeavor - remove 22 pin connector and push terminals into plug pin #2,3 and 13 - problem is, unit doesn't have 22 pin connector it has 2 - 14 pin connectors and 1 - 10 or 5 (not sure which) pin connector. Where can I install aux in which connector do I use and if so, what pin #s?

I talked to tech and parts guys, and they can't seem to tell me if my dvd player hooks into the 13 pin din connector on the ipod adapter unit and then cord from adapter unit into the head unit.

Could somebody please help me as soon as they can, my wife is not entirely impressed that half her dashboard is in the back of the car.
