i was wondering if a header from a 99 eclipse would be compatible with an 01 eclipse. (size wise) if so, then i have some extreme mods that i want to do.

yes the header will fit from only '97-'99 spyders. those year spyders have the same engine that you have in your 3G 4cyl. the reason i was asking about the GST/GSX was b/c the turbo header from those cars will also bolt up and they flow much much better than the non turbo header

you dont have the 4G63 engine unless you have a GSX or GST. and then you have the 4G63t engine. 97'-99' coupes come with the 420a engine. '97 -'99 spyders come with the 4G64 engine and GST/GSX come with the 4G63t engine. you 3G comes with a 4G64 engine. now the parts for a 4G64 engine will be interchangable. the turbo manifolds from the GSX/GST will bolt up to the 4G64 engine. I dont think any parts for the 420a will work with the 4G64
