Thats the thing with AWD if you got so well with it YOU CAN'T drive anything else. from Awd and jump to rwd or even mid ship you are getting in a world of trouble

wait, they turn in the "same" direction or turn to help the car turn. that seams like it would hurt, i drove tractors and all 4 wheels turned but the back 2 turn in the opposite direction to help you turn more the wheels kinda look like a sideways U

is that the same as a vr4 or different?

i'm confused on what you mean by the same way? to make a car turn a tighter circle (on a left turn) the font wheels turn left and the back turn right. is that how a vr4 works?

When parking they turn opposite like the tractor so it turns tighter. at speeds over 35 I believe, they turn in the same direction as the front to aid in changing lanes. instead of turning into the lane you slide over. They only turn one or two degrees.

My fiancee had a 1989 MR2. I really enjoyed it and working on it was really new to me being mid engine. I visited Alldata.com and MR2OC.com very often to figure out how to wrench on it. I'm not familiar with the turbos on them but as far as handling it was really great. I did have a problem with it getting loose on me on wet roads, but I learned how to "feel" for it and know the limits of the car as well as to slow down.

Beautiful cars just very different coming from a Z28 or a VR4 into a mid ship car.

yeah, i don't see my next car being older than an 05 unless i go viper or something, but we'll see, looks like i got a while to decide, i may even just keep the GST, i just don't like the fact that it has limitations (FWD)

had a 91 it was super fun, working on them is a booger like stated. if you do get one i recommend really good tires, when i got mine it had some toyo proxys on it and they would cut loose launching at 3k rpm. I ended up messing 3 of them up messing around and got a nice set of nitto's and i swear i could drop the clutch at redline and just take off.
