Hey guys,
Has anyone ever had their handbrake light stay on? If I use it loads in the day it will be off in the evening and If I put air in the tyres it goes off too but otherwise its stuck on and its driving me mad.....plus its got to go for an MOT on monday aswell. Would it have anything to do with my brakes not being very good?
Any help would be great! :)

Maybe your cable is stretched? You should check that first.

well you could check the cable, but first i suggest is checking if you enough brake fluid in its reserve, then i would check if your brakes are worn after that as a possible precaution i would check the brake line.. this is the only thing that come to mind if the emergency brake light is on..

Yeah I would have to agree. Check fluid first. I have seen where the cable needs to be adjusted. But it is usually a fluid issue. Check your master cylinder level.
