its not really better

for that much money

your better off buying a used regular manifold off of ebay,

sending it to get ported and polished

and you would see better gains

OBX is an ebay brand pretty much. they make an inferior product and sell it for less. the welds aren't as good and they crack easier. the upside is they are cheap as your going to find. if your not into high quality or name brands then go for it. their life is less than one of a higher quality (obviously) but again, thats why they are cheap. (personally since i drive a 1900 dollar car i'd get it, but on a new car i wouldn't) the choice is up to you.

basically getting it ported means someone takes a dremel to the inside.

You already have the mods done that make a port job worth it, right?

well im just doin the slow process of getting my car fast. here is the low down. i got my engine rebuilt cause i had 85% blow by. they bored it .20 over and put domed pistons in. i port and polished the head. milled the block and head. im going to install security systems in the summer so im gonna be gettin a good chunk of change so when i get back im putting dished pistons in and stronger rods and im ordering a hahn turbo kit. would porting the intake manifold mess with my idle?

just some sunday when you have nothing to do take your stock mani off and take a dremmel to it they dont really make much performance intake manis for dsm's rite now. the obs isnt very efficient and it is reliable though my friend paid the 350 for one of these maybe couple hp gain but the square design just isnt efficient.

if you already ported and polished your head you would want to port match your intake and exhaust manifold anyhow. you got rid of your restrictions in the head now you want to get rid of any restrictions coming and going.

The sandpaper cylinder for polishing just remove and smooth out the obvious restrictions and casting blemishes...I wouldn't go to crazy porting if you have no experiance bc you can really screw things up..the stock turbo manifold is already close to the max your gonna get...

Dude you are going to turbo it anyway...so dont spend money on things you really dont need, you wont need that intake mani. Save the money for the Pistons and the turbo cause you are going to need every penny you got.
