Hi! Here's the deal- my 1989 Colt 1.5L suddenly stopped working one day. Turns over, but wont catch. After an exhaustive search, we found that the computer is bum (getting spark, getting gas, timing belt ok, O2 sensor ok, but there is no electricity going to the fuel injectors, and I can see the capacitor that melted and damaged the circuit board.)

A couple of weeks ago, you gave me the suggestion of contacting AvPro or ECM-To-Go (thanks). I have contacted both, and since AvPro guarantees the ECU for the life of the car, I have chosen to go with them. However, I am a little worried about sending the ECU and $160 in the mail to this company in Florida. I cannot find them on the Better Business Bureau site. Have you personally dealt with AvPro before? Are they legit? Is there a place where I can confirm this?
Thanks!

I have not done business with them personally. I bookmarked the site for possible future reference after reading a positive post about them on this or another Mitsu site some time ago.
Here is another DYI link.... http://www.diamanteowners.com/forum/lofive....php?t3855.html
