I fell in love with this car from the moment I saw it but I dont really need it right now in the winter. Ill definatly be buying in the summer though (June,July). Just need a nice car that looks great...cheap of course and this is the perfect car for me. I was wondering what I can expect to pay for the DE, power everything and A/C, thats it with nothing else. Probably used from a private party or used certified. I've heard that the new Lancer is coming out with the bigger engine but now sure how that will affect the price of the '08. Any ideas? If summer is too early than maybe someone can predict the price in winter 2008. aybe it can be kinda hard to predict but I geuss that every cars price drops with every year and mile it puts on. Any help would be great. Thanks

I don't think you will see a significant drop from the dealer that will make you buy the 08 over the 09. The prices may still even be the same..

As you said, your best bet would probably be used or from a private party. For a DE, maybe 15k give or take depending on mileage n other things.
