d4mn, I almost got a heart attack yesterday.
My last car was a Civic with one way insurance $500/year.
Yesterday I walk in to Allstate and a Polish lady kills me with a $1560/year on a lancer full coverage. I almost jumped out of the chair.
I had to go and have couple  afterwards to cool off.
I never new insurance rates for mitsus are that high.
What are you paying guys?

well, your looking at full converage there, always going to be a bit more. and i'm assuming the lancer is newer than the civic.

wow i wish mine was 1560 lol.. Im paing over $3k. But thats of course with 2 suspensions, 14 speeding tickets from OH to SoCal and a few other violations :)

In ur case, u are switching from Civic - one of the most popular cars in US, with a crap load of companies making parts for it, and it was only Liability.. Now u got brand new car, with NO parts other than OEM, and u got comprehensive and liability..

yep it's newer. the civic was 2000.
I also have 2005 Mazda 3s, and I pay $890/year for full coverage.
Lancer is almost double that.

$160 a month 24, single, male. Which was pretty descent cause allstate and geico i'd be paying 250 a month!!!!

Anyway, why do males have to pay more. Shouldnt women be the ones who need to pay more insurance. They cant drive and are always causing some fender bender.

2. cell phone in one hand
3. coffee in second
4. hard breaking car in front of her

Mine's $59.35 per month for full coverage thru USAA.
