$210 a month. With the good student discount it lowers to $156 a month. I was also told that in one year it will go down to $120 a month cause it means I will have been driving for 5 years. I have no accidents, my record is clean.

Yea that's true. But you have a GTS and it's a manual, no? Manual means higher insurance for some reason

Oh yea, does anyone know how long we have to have full coverage? I just had liability with my old car (98 Honda Accord) and it was about $690 a year

WOW!! Seeing some of the rates people have to pay to insure their vehicles boggles my mind!

In Saskatchewan Canada we are getting off pretty easy... I don't have my Lancer yet but the insurance company has a calculator online for the rates on all vehicles.

I entered a 2009 Lancer GTS and it calculates out $1,288.00 per year OR $111.62 per month. I am sure am lucky I ain't spending over $3,000 like some of you, that really breaks the bank man...

I actually have the automatic CVT, I was going to go for the manual but most of the time I am in traffic and I can see myself in the future being in traffic. Being close to Los Angeles sucks. We have 6 cars on our policy, I would think I would get a lower monthly payment.

I'm paying 108 a month full coverage on 10 GTS, and 35 liability on a 95 S-10. All with Nationwide. They are a pain to deal with, but they give me good deals so.
