QUOTE(SixFeetDeep @ Mar 1 2008, 12:12 PM)
playboyfoyalife: I called to double check my rate & it was actually $347 every 6 months...not bad!
BUT....after informing my agent that I would be now driving the car about 20K a year, my rate will be going up. New price will be still only $377 every 6 months. If I was to only drive it 7500 miles or less a year like I used to do....it would remain @ $347

Tellin ya all....it really pays to be ticket & accident free. By having that...I am saving 20%+ off of my bill every 6 months. That plus I have home owners insurance, life insurance, multi-car discount & a couple of other things with State Farm. I have been really happy with them.
Been with them for 20 years +. So again....I am showin my age here  :57:

Sorry....I had to repost this I can't believe what the insurance people are chargin everyone! Man.....stay outa trouble with no accident or tickets & watch how quickly your rated will drop.
FYI....I am still only paying $347 every 6. not the $377 as I said before. Guess they don't want my extra $30

I'm paying $2200... sort of. I just got my Lancer about 3 weeks ago and my 6 years of safe driving occurs in september which knocks that down to about 1300.

hey man!
what I've been told by insurance company is that guys more often than other, tend to speed more and therefore have bigger accidents than chick's
on the other hand wemen tear off part of a fence or runs over a garbage bin, (that cost less to replace)
it's pretty logical!!!

I'm paying $578 every six months....but its hard to compare to others if you dont know what kind of coverage they have and the coverage limit amounts. I get a discount for having home owners as well, I have $500 deductable with full glass and almost the highest coverage you can get in each catagory. I have almost the highest coverage I could get to protect myself from being sued and losing my house or something because I didnt have enough coverage. I also have an accident and a ticket in the last 3 years, so $1156 a year is not bad, but I'm also shopping around right now as I think I can get it cheaper. I'm with state farm right now. The companies who say switch and save money usually just lower your coverage amounts to save you on your bill, so be careful of that, because if you get sued for a million in a accident you could be in deep doo doo cause you dont have enough coverage. I know someone who got sued for a million, lost their cars, house, ruined their life. Also my ex girlfriend was my insurance agent so she hooked me up and showed me the horror stories too of people who were under insured.

The american dream to sue one, make that person/s life miserable and make theirs better. No regrets or anything. Its just that easy. :offtopic: But i hate it when people want to sue others over something that is not worth it. Hire an assassin to sneak into their room and kill them when they are asleep lol.

:offtopic: Marked offtopic!! for your safety

My step bro was driving past McDonalds and a drunk driver hit him. Just so happened he was driving his friend and his friend's friends. Well the 2 kids he didn't know were poor and lived in a town house. They wanted to sue my step bro who wasn't at fault for the accident. They are stupid white trash people that are loud, the kid called up my step bro and said that he went to the hospital (lol big lie) and got checked out for the 'ol neck injury. But in the background you could hear his lame Parents saying we are going to sue the S**t out of them. End of story because you hear that and they can;t sue you anymore. Just sad how people want money and won't do anything themselves for it. :offtopic:

I believe mine is around $875 USD full coverage per year from Met Life. It's about $100 dollars more than my Mazda 3, so I'm pretty happy about it.

I've a clean record, no accident or speeding ticket, and it listed that I've 10 years of driving experience on my record.
