guys if you want to keep the factory head unit and still get the excellant sound quality

may i suggest using the JL audio cleansweep

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansw....php?page_id=79

or if you want a unit with an added eq you can use the audiocontrol DQL-8

http://www.mobileaudiocontrol.com/product....12&l1=17612&l2=

i am using the audio control and just loving it , found that the output sound from the jl did not sound natural and it (to me seems a bit over processed).

both these units take the hi - level outputs from the stock speaker wires and give you clean rca outputs that you can connect to external amps.

Or you can get Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty and have top notch quality for less $$.

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...en_US&p_status=

you can pick up one of these on internet for about $210-400 depending on model.

It does the same thing, but IMO it produces clean, crisp and natural sound like is suppose to be. Very user friendly, compact and made by respectable company.
