Hi all,

I have a TS on LPG. It's been running like a dream until now...

My issue is that it will run on LPG perfectly.

On Petrol though it is running like it is missing and has NO power, will not even drive.

All this happened when I 'lent' the car to a family member... big mistake..

I believe the air flow metre may have 'died' - Although the borrower says it didn't backfire.. I doubt they would have noticed though...

They tell me that they tended to push the accelerator peddle when they started it. I know this is bad. I was **** to hear it.

I am clutching at strays and would love some input/suggestions. I've found the info on testing the AFM but any insight would be sweet.

Tks,

H

I had a similar situation with my vw long time ago.
when you drive it easy for a long time, and then tend to step on it, the LPG comp, might get reprogrammed (if you run on the older type of LPG instalation /not the sequential one/).
When I used to go to the LPG service, they always cleaned the throttle body and did some magic to the comp, and I was allset and ready to go for another few thousand miles.
What kind of installation you're running on?
