today i bought an exhaust tip, just the part at the end. im pretty sure its just for looks but does it give you and gain in hp or anything.

hey i was thinking of getting one but they seem a bit pricy around $30 to $40. anyway they have some at the autozone for less then $10.

anyway on the box how wide is the tip? or anyoneelse knows this?

i think at the AZ its 2 1/4

yea mine was only 15 so its wasnt to bad

the one i got said that it would fit up to a 2 1/2 inch pipe and the tip was 3 inches

Well before my dad bought the car i was like excited about the "chrome exhaust tip". I thought it was gonna look cool. After we got the car the stupid tip was hideous looking. It was disgusting. And no gains in anything including looks. This is why a new greddy ti c exhaust sytem will be replacing the power inhibiting oem exhaust system. I recommend that without a doubt.
