 Evo 2 Noise, noise coming from cam belt area

any body out there had any noises down in the cam belt covers, its a funny noise to describe like a sought of rattly vibration when u rev, thats there from cold start up but the weird thing is that it goes when its at running temperature. can anybody shed any light on it cus its starting to drive me rond the bend :(

DUde with EVO2 Noises... sunds like a vibration hey? coming from the lower cam belt areas?? If it is coming from inside the "Timing Belt Cover"??

Could be one of three things, and even if I am wrong, if something breaks in there, good chance your timing belt will snap and that will probably cost you to rebuild your head.... and if it is a Genuine EVO 2 it won't be cheap at all!!!

Could be
1) Hydraulic Timing Belt Tensioner - Important
2) Balancing shaft bearings
3) any of the pulleys inside the cover area

get it sorted before it breaks!!
