hi i bought a 04plate carisma today its a 1.9 did i think
and basicly the rad pipe on the right hand side has a small o-ring on it and lookslike it used to have somthing on top of it
just wondering what it is and a picture would be nice (just for peace of mind)

Hi Mate,
I have an 03 1.9td, I have had a look and cant see any exposed o ring on mine. Post a picture to make a comparison. I see that you live in Hampshire, I found that the Service manager at Balmer Lawn Mitsubishi in New Milton was really helpful with a problem that I had.

Its the bleed screw on top of the inlet hose. you need a new hose :grin:
