I have a 93' Diamante and I need help installing the alternator belt. I don't know which bolts are the tension release or if it even has one. PLEASE HELP!!!

the alternator is a fixed unit bolted to the block

there should be a tensioner pully with an adjuster

you undo the bolt through that pully then undo the longer adjusting nut

(passenger side rear of the engine just above the alternator )

this will slacken off the belt

if you drop the idler pully the built up edge needs to face towards the engine

if not the belt will slip off
