When I shift 01 montero with 88,000 mi from 4HLC to 4LLC while in neutral with the front wheels forward the 4wd dash lights keep flashing which indicates that shifting is still in progress but it stays blinking. When I attempt to shift into drive the buzzer sounds. Otherwise I dont have any issues with I shift between 2H to 4H to 4HLC and vice versa. I followed every suggestion in the manual but this still happens whether the engine is cold or hot. I also recently changed front/rear diffrerentials and transfer case fluids. Could it be an electrical problem?
