I have an 02 Diamante LS. It has 45,000m on it and the top of the Muffler has a hole in it. Large, Not to mention Loud! I called the dealer I'm looking at $850.00. I search high and low on the www. Can't find replacement specific for my car. Hard to believe, but true. Someone suggest getting a muffler that matches pipe size but it might throw off engine back pressure.
Can anyone help? Any suggestions would be great.

Just go to your local muffler shop, have them recommend a good one for oem replacement, and it'll be under $200.

I decided to call a several muffler shops. Most were very unsure if they could help me. Then I got lucky. That shop had my make and model listed and quoted me $221.00. Sold! I told him. Its being repaired as I'm typing this.

Thanks for all the help.
