WTF MAN, ok on Jan 1st somebody tboned me and i waited 39 days for insurence and everything to fix, i Just got the car back last friday which was the 8th of feb, yesterday feb 11th, SOMEBODY CLIPPED ME AGAIN! front fender damage bumper damage (front left of the car) headlight mounts are both done, broken and he headlights are scratched like ****.... WTF MAN i got my car back from 1 accdent waited 39 days and BOOM 3 days later ANOTHER **** driver hits me... WTF man, and thing is this guy was trying to say it was my fault and he does have could try to fight what i say. he was just trying to talk his way out of it... adventually my parients let him go and now we have to pay for damages ourselfs.... reason why they let him go? they know the guy and dont want to bring him to court.... wtf man... i go a really good hookup at a frieds garage to get it fixed and he quoted me $2400, $1000 for new bumper, $700 for new headlights, and only $600 for labor, materiels and paint...... but iv been looking into aftermarket stock bumpers and aftermarket headlights, i found the bumper but i cant find the headlights... anybody know where i can get aftermarket headlights? any as log as it is cheaper then $700...........

Your parents are taking a 2400 loss because your parents know him. He must not be a great guy if he threatened to fight you in court. If it was me, I would have taken him to court just for the threat. Dumb move on your parents for paying the damage. The guy's insurance would have paid for everything. No after market headlights are out yet. I would pay 1000 and get the evo lights.

$2400 is quite the amount to take up front. I'd rather pay 10-20% more on my insurance instead of forking out at least $2.4k for something that wasn't my fault.

word i would take him to court too, this guy grabbed me and was trying to pull me to his car and he was like "LOOK @ MY CAR" i shoved him and i was ready to knock him for touching me, but still he was a older chinese guy prob 60s so that prob wasent a good idea if i was gonna deck him but still wtf he grabbed me guy

wen I got into my accident about byears ago in my truck...I got cut off by a city bus and smacked this pontiac in the back at like 55 mph. His trunk was in his bac kseat but everyone was ok. My truck wasn't even that bad...my headilghts were broken and my hood bent...this is because i had a heavy duty metal guard going aroudnt eh front of my truck...well b4 the cops came...he went into wat was left of his back seat and took out and put on a knee brace... I was like ****.....when the cops left..he took it off threw it in the back seat and gave me a little wink. He later calls me up sayin he doesn't want to go through insurance...my lawyer encouraged me not to do this cause he would be able to sue me within 3-5 years after the incident for his knee.

The quotes for parts are high for this exact reason, shortage in parts, even if your guy can get the parts, its going to be another 1 month wait. There is a back log and parts are coming from Japan now because the demand cant be filled from south of the border.

Let me know if you want a cheaper solution...

stevensu2005, 2 accidents in such a short period of time might signify you're doing something wrong. I would suggest taking a hands-on driving class or accident avoidance class to better your skills.
