So, our 2007 Outtie has had the transmission update but now it is doing something different. We will be driving around at a normal speed, under normal stress and it feels like the transmission is jumping from 5th to 4th and back to 5th really quickly. We definitely feel a jerk for no reason.

Has anyone else experienced this?

A GTS? Is this the Outlander with a V6 and the normal Auto transmission or a 2.4L with a CVT transmission? If its the later I've experienced some indecisiveness when travelling up certain slopes at certain speeds - the car is too fickle to choose a ratio and switches between two, but you can hardly feel it.

And what update are you talking about?

Well, my Outtie has a transmission. We were not traveling up or down a slope when it happened and we were not pushing the engine.

The update has a TSB out for it. They had to flash it for a hesitation problem.
