Take a look at: http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t28215-pi...of-gts-mods.htmand http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t29590-af...9-08-lancer.htmin our General Discussion forum to get some ideas. IMO lowering the vehicle would look sweet, especially on this car. Get leather seats. Get the sunroof package. I think sunroofs are great cause you can flare people out the roof instead of the window hehe. But seriously I think they make the car look pretty good. For sure get the NAVI, that'll add a nice LCD display to your interior. Look at some of the bodykits that are out there. There's some nice stuff you might want to consider. Get your calipers painted. Look into ground effects (just make sure they can be switch controlled). And of course since I drive the white Lancer I will say get the white one! I love my white :) Now the whole poser thing... people can call you a poser for anything you do to your ride, I say screw them. It really depends what you want out of your car and how much money you have. I want mine to look nice and be faster than average. But that will cost me and will take a really long time to accomplish. What I'm saying is put money into what you want to get out of your ride. You want it to look super nice, spend money on that. Then you have a show car, not a race car - nothing wrong with that.

If you can wait for the 09 Lancer than wait I would wait. It's only a few months away. The leather seats should be fine, unless you actually start using the car as a cab. But be aware that it's easy to damage leather (i.e. scratch or cut it). You mess it up it's gonna show. Good choice on the stick, that's what I got and love it. I got mine on a loan through the dealership at BMO, but I had to have my dad cosign for it since I couldn't get approved for the entire amount. It takes a while to build up a good credit, so I doubt that you're gonna be able to do it on your own. I mean I don't exactly know your situation, but I'm 23, had credit cards for years, never missed payments, and still didn't get approved. Try getting the car in your name and see if your parents can cosign on the loan, that way you're building your credit but if anything was to happen you're cosigners are responsible for making the payments. Look at this thread about insurance and discuss it there: http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t31433-ho...r-insurance.htmBTW I have the white, I think it's great. If I was to do it all over again my first choice would be white. White is easy to work with, you can pretty much pair up any color scheme (say for body mods) with the color. And it's nice and shiny when you wash it. I've had sooo many people come up to me and tell my that my car stands out and looks nice and clean.

Thx for the co-signing tip. I never knew what it meant until now. I remember in the movie "The Departed" matt damon is going to buy/rent an apartment in boston and the agent says its too expensive for a state detective. Matt damon looks at him like hes an ***** and says "i have a co-signer" So now i get it... So you really opened my eyes to how long good credit will take to move up even with paying everything on time and being a good manager of your money.. CO-signing with "mommy" is the way to go! :) My colors for the car now have slimmed down to Blue or White... Can't really decide but I think blue would look tight with a carbon fiber hood with black rims and tinted windows like this pic --> http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_image...558_18_full.jpgBut since white seems like it has potential, could you guys show me some tricked out white pics??? I'd love to see them. Try to convince me into getting a white cuz im still debating. Show me some pics of your cars! Id love to see them White has me a little ehhh i duno but prove me wrong :) About the insurance companies, I'll try state farm, erie, or hmm i dunno any other suggestions?? Im still young and id like to pay around 100-200 instead of the insane 300-400 rate they have in allstate. By the way, I'm going to the bank tomorrow to open my OWN personal checkings and savings account and i'm going to apply for a credit card so I can start a credit score finally. I've been in a joint one with my parents for a while now but its not mine. I think its time to grow up and start doing *** responsibly. I was even thinking about paying life insurance every month + the car payments + the car insurance to help boost my credit fast.. What do you guys think??? So from what I understand co-signing with my parents still gives me the power to build up my own credit regularly just as if i didnt co-sign right?? I want equal opportunities! What i mean is will co-signing for things take longer for me to build up my credit rather than lets say if i didnt have a co-signer? ehh.. Basically does having my parents co sign slow down my future credit score than if i were to do it alone? Yes i asked the same question 3 times just so you guys could understand what im saying.. i dont know much about banks and lending money and co-signing and credit scores or w/e so im learning as i go. I find it so interesting though :) My credit can be built up fast if I pay for things like the car, life insurance, car insurance, etc right??? Those arent little monthly payments like buying a stupid hat at lids every month. this might add up to $600-$1000 every month. I hope spending that much money and at the same time saving money will boost my credit score quick right?? Sorry if i sound n00bish. I just need to know :) So ANYWAYS sorry if im boring you guys now... Back to the real topic white or blue? Pat
