Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 15-February 08 Member No.: 52,675 Status: Location: Chandler, Arizona Drives: 2003 mitsubishi galant	I have a 2003 galant V6 with 85k and it has recently started idling very wierd, it will rev up sort of high, then go very low, 500 rpms, sometimes it has even died, any ideas on what the problem could be?

[right][snapback]142669[/snapback][/right] sorry but thats entirely wrong. Mustangs have this very same problem after a while of use. Your IAC sensor went bad, and your going to need to get a new one. Thats why the idling is spiking and why it eventually stalled. Get a new one and your problem will be solved. Its connected to the throttle body.
