The place I went to get my inspection sticker wouldn't tell me what these codes meant, and as you can tell from my name on here I don't know anything about cars, what do these errors mean? I know if I take my car somewhere they'll charge me at least $50 to tell me what the issue is, and I think that's ridiculous. If anyone could help me that would be great!

Also, if you know what the issues are- then would you know around how much they would cost to fix? I just want to make sure when I go somewhere I have a general idea of the cost because I don't want to be screwed over (wouldn't be the first time!).

Thank you!

go to any car store such as Pep Boys, Strauss Auto, Autozone and they will tell you what those codes mean for free.

I had P0135 pop up before... I have a 2002 4cyl. In the Haynes manual it describes P0135 as "Upstream Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Problem" If you have a 4cyl, you have 2 oxygen sensors. One is before the catalytic converter and screws into your manifold. This is the Upstream sensor that needs to be replaced. If you have a V6, this code refers to the oxygen sensor or circuit for the rear cylinder head. I had to replace the sensor, and I just had autozone clear the check engine light... and I was good to go.

All I can tell you about P0622 is that the Haynes manual refers to this as "Alternator FR terminal circuit malfunction", so I would check my charging system circuits if I were you.

Those things run up to 300 dollars or more. I hate it. I just got it replaced and am a full time student. Try getting the part and hopefully your dealership would put it in for you with a charge of labor it might be around 100? I doubt about the price of the part. It might be 100? or less? Talk with your dealership or a friend that knows how to work on galant.

Great news, I found a website. Check it out, talk with the dealership or a shop if they are familiar with galant cars. They have to know how to work with them otherwise it will cause problems if misplaced or lousy service. Buy the part that is between 30 to 50 dollars and hopefully labor would 100 dollars or less rather than spending more than 300 dollars.
Hope this help!
