I just happened across a free 1985 Dodge Ram 50 2WD, same thing as a Mighty Max. I found a sticker identifying the engine as a "G63B," so at least I know what I'm dealing with there. But what I'm not so familiar with is the transmission (an automatic) and rear axle. Did these come in any other vehicles? Any idea how much horsepower these can stand up to?

In case others are looking for the same questions, I've figured out it has a Chrysler A904 transmission in it, which ought to be pretty straightforward to modify to take more horsepower. Haven't found out about the rear axle yet though.
