Sup guys

well story goes, the other day there was a large blizzard going on in my area and i drove thru it, then since then, my cars been making a strange knocking sound. it might be from the engine but im not sure. When im idle, it doesnt knock at all. When i press the gas in park or neutral, no knocking. But when im in drive it knocks under low rpms, and when i tak emy foot off the gas itll knock sometimes slowly, but as soon as i turn my wheel left or right (moreso right) it begins knocking. I dont know if its from the wheels or the engine i cant figure it out, but if you guys can help id like to fix it before i damage anything cuz i need it for school.

Thanks ahead of time

i had a little knock, start your car and pop the hood, if its coming from you block it could be a loose spark plug, did you change them recently?

thats the thing also, if its on neutral no matter how much i put the rpms up there is no knocking whatsoever, and one more thing ot note, the knocking seems to shake my steering wheel, so maybe its my suspension or my wheels? maybe somethings loose or the wheels are loose period?

perhaps something with the drive line might be a damage tie rod.

ok, so i honostly can't help with the knocking, but here's a tip if you have bad MPG, get new plugs and wires (should do anyways) go with NGK off of ebay, best bang for the buck, and then change your fuel filter too. after that check you milage, and good luck with the knocking

Axles. It should be more pronounced while turning. and like knocking or clicking noise.

Bad mileage is plugs and wires

Happened to me at 80, got alot of vibration and the steering didn't work so great pulled over to find I had zero tight lug nuts.

This was right after I fixed my car and I just tightened the lugs enough to get it off the stands... then I forgot to really tighten them. They lasted a week. Although my wheel never fell off it was a close call.
