K&N does not make an air filter for 2008 lancer this is the EMAIL they sent me :460: Dear K&N Customer, Thank you for your interest in K&N products. Unfortunately, at this time K&N does not make an air filter for your vehicle. If you would like to be notified if a filter is released in the future, please visit our website at http://www.knfilters.com, and search for your vehicle's year, make, model, and engine size. When no filter is shown in the search results, click on "No products shown?" and fill out the online form. Our system will record your information, send a confirmation email listing all products currently available, and future emails will be sent any time a new part is released for your vehicle. if we all email them they will make one for the 2008 lancer GTS 2.0L

That's weird, they sell them here in Sydney.. at least that's what I've been told by some of the spare parts shops in the area.

Why does the K&N website suggests 33-2074 as air filter for Lancer 2008? I really don't wanna pay $129 for the Works air filter. Anyone has tried 33-2074? Is there an universal K&N air filter that might fit a 2008 Lancer?

PATIENCE.............K&N IS REPEAT IS working on a kit for our car according to another site. Possibly later this summer maybe? I don't know. :57: Don't know if this is a final picture for it.....maybe not....but it gives you a hint at what it will look like.

IDK AFAIK the only options so far were Works and some other brand with a foam one. Works being so expensive $129, not too many people tried it, but it is supposed to be good. The foam one, I wouldn't trust it. I would be happy if K&N had the same performance as Works, at less than half the price of Works.
